Jay Electronica got pretty comfortable on the internet last night, as the album-less rapper was live streaming on Periscope where he was answering fan questions from the back of his car. Kendrick Lamar‘s name started to come up after fans requested he play some of K.Dot’s music, and instead of doing so, Elec’ told fans he only liked Kendrick’s Gunplay collab, “Cartoon & Cereal,” and suggesting (at 6:00) that “other than that we don’t know what n—a talking about.” A fan decided to say K.Dot would body Jay in a battle, and that’s when things went south, “Kendrick is my son, Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes he could be me,” he says at 12:40. Jay balanced out the session eventually, bigging up rappers like Drake and Freddie Gibbs. However, that was short lived, as 50 Cent became his next target: “Right now he got the potential to be a rapper but he’s on some sucker shit… and we will slap 50 Cent’s eyeballs loose out his scalp.” You can hear that at the 12:00 mark along with the whole Persicope session above.
