J. Cole's 'Born Sinner' and 'Cole World: The Sideline Story' Officially Went Platinum

J. Cole can now add two more plaques to his wall. His debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story and his sophomore release Born Sinner have both been certified as platinum records in the U.S., the RIAA reports. Previously, his latest offering, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, has surpassed the millionth mark upon its release in December 2014.

In related news, Nicki Minaj’s album The Pinkprint has been certified double-platinum while Future’s Dirty Sprite 2 has surpassed the platinum mark. Earlier this month, the RIAA decided to make music streaming count towards platinum and gold certifications.
