2016 might be Drake‘s most successful year yet. The OVO rapper’s latest major single “Summer Sixteen” has just landed him his strongest sales week as a lead artist. Even though the song was far from a bid for crossover or pop success, Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” debuted at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. As Billboard reports, the record comes in at “215,000 downloads sold, marking his best sales week as a lead artist.” Billboard also notes that the track fittingly emerges as his “16th Hot 100 top 10” song. If Drake can keep this momentum up, Views From The 6 is going to be huge.
