A$AP Twelvyy Is a Working Class Hero in the "L.Y.B.B." Music Video
“This my last year being broke.”
A$AP Twelvyy has been building a body of work as one of the oft-overlooked members of the greater A$AP Mob, but the Harlem rapper is poised to make that crossover soon enough and “L.Y.B.B. (Resolution)” might as well be his mission statement and proof positive that the Harlem rapper is poised to make that crossover into mainstream adoration. The video for the single, which stands for “Last Year Being Broke,” features Twelvyy and the rest of the Mob dancing around a halal cart, throwing purple dollars with the late, great A$AP Yams’ face emblazoned on them, as well as a crew of dancers performing a showtime routine and a mariachi band, for good measure. Stick around for Twelvyy hitting the jig as a drummer goes in on an upturned bucket.
Watch the video above and commit the hook to memory as a personal mantra.
