Kyrie Irving Torches the Wizards in New Kyrie 5 "Neon Blends" PE
Channeling “Galaxy” vibes from past Nike drops.
A few days ago we shared a look at Kyrie Irving‘s Nike Kyrie 5 “Little Mountain” PE, honoring the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. That bright iteration was quickly followed up by another colorful pair, dubbed “Neon Blends.”
Worn last night against the Washington Wizards, Irving contributed 38 points, 7 assist and 3 rebounds in an entertaining overtime victory. The special edition channels some design cues from Nike’s “Galaxy” theme seen on models like the Foamposite and AM Plus. The intergalactic sneaker pops courtesy of the contrasting white found at its sole, lacing system and large lateral Swoosh.
