KWAYE Shares Velvety New Single, "Jasmine"
The 23-year old Londoner continues to shine.
After sharing his standout cut, “Lost In My Boots” last week, burgeoning British-Zimbabwean artist KWAYE follows up with another single today titled, “Jasmine.” Similar to his previous drop, this latest is another gravitationally emotive love number that sets a more ambiguous tone in contrast to the overtly positive vibes from “Lost In My Boots.”
Along with the single, KWAYE also shares a visual accompaniment for added effect, and he when speaking to FADER about the track, the 23-year old Londoner explains, “this song is whatever it makes you feel. For me, romance isn’t dead, and Jasmine embodies the highs and lows of intimacy.” The video was also said to have been captured in one shot in order to mirror the rawness and intimacy of the record.
