Watch the First Trailer for the Anime Film 'Batman Ninja'

Batman Ninja is an animated flick that will adopt an anime aesthetic and was originally previewed earlier this year at New York Comic Con. Now, the first trailer for the feature film has dropped, displaying Batman in a fashion fans haven’t seen before, as his mythos is re-envisioned in feudal era Japan.
The animation was done by Kill La Kill‘s Kazuki Nakashima and designed by Afro Samurai‘s Takashi Okazaki. It is also a fully Japanese-spoken movie, complete with subtitles. Plans for an English dub track has yet to be revealed. Check out the trailer above and look for the Blu-ray/DVD next year.
