Drake Had Over 4.7 Billion Streams on Spotify in 2016
Drizzy’s also the most streamed artist of all time.
Drake is the most streamed artist in 2016, with a total of over 4.6 billion. This is more than double of last year’s amount, where Drizzy had a total of 1.8 billion streams. The high amount of streams is majorly due to the success of VIEWS and “One Dance,” which are respectively the most streamed album and song on the platform. Earlier this year, “One Dance” surpassed Major Lazer’s “Lean On” for the most total streams ever on Spotify; it’s now almost at 970 million plays. In addition to these accomplishments, Drake is the most streamed artist on Spotify, with about eight billion streams in total. Check out more stats here.
