Converse has reworked the Chuck ‘70 for the Fall/Winter 2018, looking to the great outdoors for inspiration. The shoes use suede uppers and rope laces — designed to look like those seen in vintage backpacks. The patches on the shoes take inspiration from the brand’s 1988 Mountain Club collection.

The colorways used are violet and blue, again looking back to the bold colorways typically seen in ‘90s climate gear. The pack is available now from Converse’s web store.

In other news, White Mountaineering has joined forces with adidas TERREX for a technical Fall/Winter 2018 collaboration.
