Finnish labels Karhu and Artek have teamed up on a limited edition Stool 60. Acting as one of designer Alvar Aalto’s most iconic pieces, the Stool 60 has been revamped into a vibrant piece of furniture fitting for any design lover’s home.

Taking inspiration from Karhu’s recognizable orange and black colour combination, the Stool 60 sees one leg painted in orange while the other two remain in natural coloured birch wood, keeping in line with its classic foundation. A smooth black leather seat rounds out the design while a wood burned Karhu bear logo is branded underneath.

Limited to only 80 pieces, interested fans can purchase the Karhu x Artek Stool 60 this Friday, December 7 at the Karhu Concept Store in Helsinki and on karhu.com for $350 USD. A special launch party will also be held this Friday at Likelihood in Seattle.
