For the past few days, the Chicago native has been heavily promoting his performance on Saturday Night Live tweeting out #ChanceOnSNL along with promo videos with tonight’s host Chris Hemsworth and cast member Bobby Moynihan. Tonight’s performance makes him the first independent artist ever to grace the famed SNL stage. Below, you can check out the live version of the song, he’s just shared moments ago via social media, “Somewhere In Paradise” with Jeremih and The Social Experiment. On top of that, he performed “Sunday Candy,” hinting that another mixtape is on the way and makinga reference to Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke, who was charged with the first-degree murder of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald.
