Advent Calendar Day 24: Autographed Portrait of Big Pun By Jonathan Mannion
This photograph was never-before-seen until now.
Big Pun, born Christopher Lee Carlos Rios, is one of the most important figures in hip-hop. His debut album, Capital Punishment, which was released in 1998, is considered a classic and at his height, was one of the most recognizable rappers in the country. Famed photographer and director Jonathan Mannion — who’s known for photographing the genre’s biggest stars such as JAY-Z, Nas, DMX, Eminem, OutKast, Kendrick Lamar, among others — had the opportunity to photograph Big Pun before his untimely death on February 7, 2000.
One lucky fan will get an 11” x 14” B&W print of a previously unreleased Big Pun portrait that was taken and signed by Jonathan Mannion. The photo of Pun was taken in the Bronx in 1999 and the picture is enclosed in 16” x 20” metal section frame with 8 ply mat board.
The winners of the Advent Calendar will be announced on December 27.

The maximum number of entries allowed for each daily prize of the Advent Calendar is one (1) per person. You can enter for each daily prize throughout the 25 days.
