Topaz Jones Makes a Colorful and Surreal Return With "Motion Sickness"

[gallery columns="3"]It’s been two years since Topaz Jones graced us with The Honeymoon Suite, but the New York-based artist is poised to return with a splash, if the rubberband.-directed video for “Motion Sickness” is anything to go by.
The first single off of Jones’ sophomore release, Arcade, “Motion Sickness” is an upbeat number that is equal parts funk and hip-hop, Parliament Funkadelic and J. Cole. The song’s visuals, meanwhile, are a colorful pastel affair completed by Topaz’s jilted, harlequin gait and a cloud of balloons tugging at his dreadlocks. Make sure to stay tuned for the video’s dramatic, sudden conclusion and an introspective interlude, titled “Grass (Survivor’s Guilt).”
