[gallery columns="3"]Taylor Swift’s forthcoming album is said to have a combination of hip-hop and R&B sounds. A source reveals to The Sun that she is trying to “grow as an artist” and wants to try something “different and unexpected.” “The remix of her song ‘Bad Blood’ had a less pop vibe — especially [with] Kendrick Lamar featured on it — and was a big hit,” the source shares, “So she thinks her fans will like her going in this direction.”
Taylor is not new to the world of rap — one of 2016’s biggest “rap beefs” is with Kanye West for the lyrics of his song “Famous.” Most recently, Swift appeared at Drake’s 30th birthday party in Los Angeles with a source later saying that the two are collaborating on new music together. Drake added fuel to the hype by sharing a picture of the pair on his Instagram recently. Stay tuned for more information on her forthcoming hip-hop/R&B-infused project.
