'Shenmue III' Received over $7 Million USD in Crowdfunding
With the campaign recently coming to a close.
Shenmue III was first announced at E3 2015 and now the long-awaited game will be seeing a release date thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. With 81,087 backers, the final figure raised for the game was $7,179,510 USD.
The game broke records on the platform when it became the fastest video game to reach $1 million USD on a crowdfunding platform. It hasn’t been without delays, but now Shenmue III will be released on PS4 and PC on August 29, 2019.
In other news, it appears as if Drake’s Fortnite account has been hacked.
