Pop Trading Company Unveils Texture-Rich Collaboration With Vans
Reworking three popular models.
Pop Trading Company has unveiled its latest collab, this time with Vans. The Amsterdam-based company chose three styles in total, the Style 36, Chukka Pro and the much lesser known Agah shoe. The latter shoe comes in a “potent purple/marshmallow” colorway, with hairy suede on the upper. The Chukka Pro comes in corduroy while the style 36 also uses the aforementioned hairy suede.
Speaking about the collaboration, founder Peter Kolks said “Growing up skating in the early to mid 90’s, we were always stoked on Vans’ simple executions of canvas and suede Chukka Boots and Old Skools (which is now the Style 36). It was just the best look. No one has ever collaborated on that silhouette, so when we decided to pay homage to that era it made total sense for us to include that style.”
The Pop Trading Company x Vans collaboration will be available on November 30 at Pop Amsterdam and its online stores, hitting select retailers on December 8.
