The adidas ZX 4000 Retro Releases Next Month

Following up on teasers earlier this month, adidas‘s ZX 4000 Retro model is now set to release on December 8. This information comes to us alongside new images of the circa 1989 sneaker at the “ZX – Roots of Running” event, which highlighted the model’s history and evolution.
The ZX 4000 Retro will release in an OG colorway of light grey, black and “Carolina Blue.” The upper features a premium mix of suede, nylon and mesh, as well as details such as an embroidered heel pull tab, lime green Torsion lace lock, and an elaborate outsole that nods to the archive design.
The adidas ZX 4000 Retro will release on December 8 at select retailers such as Overkill.
