Works by Josh Kline, Jeff Koons & More Hit Gagosian's "LAWS OF MOTION" Exhibition
Referencing Karl Marx’s “application of scientific laws to systems of capital.”
Gagosian Hong Kong recently launched “LAWS OF MOTION,” an exhibition presenting dynamic works by leading artists Josh Kline, Jeff Koons, Cady Noland, Rosemarie Trockel, Jeff Wall, and Anicka Yi. The showcase “begins with key artworks from the 1980s that responded to a world saturated in the aesthetics and language of advertising, exploiting its techniques while making visible its latent and subconscious pull,” said the gallery in a statement. Collectively, the works touch upon the “manipulating systems” of production and consumer culture alongside humanity’s relationship with technology.
