Balenciaga Adds Clear Air Unit to Its Triple S Sneakers
Three different colors to choose from.
The shoe that took the chunky sneaker to new heights has just released with a slight update. Balenciaga‘s thick, three-layer Triple-S sneaker has just come out with an air-bubble unit. Most likely taking notes from the comments regarding the weight and rigidity of the shoe, Balenciaga has gone and added a full-length air unit for increased shock absorption, and reduced weight.
Aside from the technical advancements, the sneaker maintains original details like the shoe size on the toe, embossed branding, 12 fabric eyelets, bi-color laces, and lambskin/calfskin/polyester construction.
One thing to note is that these new Triple-S Clear Sole versions are made in China, and retail for $8,800 HKD (approximately $1,125 USD), roughly $115 USD more than the original variant.
