Nike Introduces Its Experiment-Driven ISPA Program
Improving interaction with the existing environment.
Over the past few months previews of a mid-cut follow up to the Nike React Element 87 and React Element 55 have been circulating. Today Nike announces it to be the REACT LW WR Mid ISPA. Broken down, the acronym ISPA stands for Improvise, Scavenge, Protect and Adapt. ISPA is also a new program led by Nike Sportswear’s special projects with the intention of improving an athlete’s interaction with the built environment. The forthcoming trio of functional silhouettes mixes a deconstructed water-resistant bootie on top of the favored React 87 sole unit.
