A Look Inside the Gucci Wooster Bookstore
For stylish bookworms.

After unveiling its limited edition hardback WORLD (The Price of Love), Gucci officially opened the new Gucci Wooster Bookstore on Tuesday. The intimate reading space is located inside Gucci’s Wooster boutique in SoHo, New York City and is curated by Dashwood Books founder David Strettell, who helped select nearly 2,000 publications for the luxury label’s new venture.
The literary collection spans subjects including fashion, youth culture, art, interiors/architecture, illustration and design, as well as an archive of rare books, out-of-print titles and “niche magazines” — many of which have been referenced by Alessandro Michele in his seasonal collections. The Bookstore also has a chief librarian and hired “Book Worms” to help visitors find what they’re looking for.
