Gucci is releasing a limited edition book titled WORLD (The Price of Love), named after the song by New Order, showcasing imagery of the Gucci Cruise 2018 collection shot by British photographer Martin Parr in Cannes.
The luxury fashion house’s latest publication features a portfolio of pictures compiling models dressed in Gucci with observational shots of the location and its passers-by. For this project, Parr presents his tongue-in-cheek perspective of society and class, taking to Riviera’s hotels and beach clubs to create images of vibrant color, satire and wit.
Distributed by IDEA, the Gucci WORLD (The Price of Love) book is limited to 1,000 copies, releasing on November 29 for $60 USD at IDEA’s web store, the Gucci Wooster Bookstore in NYC, Gucci Garden in Florence, Dover Street Market locations, and select retailers.
