Gucci Unveils Customizable New Knitwear Capsule
Put your own twist on three new styles.
Following on from its Dover Street Market-exclusive capsule, Gucci has expanded its DIY offering to include knitwear. The knitwear items in the new capsule come in four different color options — green, blue, red and white — each of which can be personalized with large letters that can be knitted into the garments using a process known as intarsia.
The new offering includes a crew neck, a shawl collar bomber and a button-through cardigan, with all designs featuring stripes around the bottom, cuffs and sleeves. The crew neck will see the custom lettering displayed on the front, while the other two styles will feature it on the back. As well as the actual design of the garment, all the packaging and labels come with “ABCDEFGUCCI” in gold text on a green background. The labels also feature the interlocking GG motif and Gucci’s blue-red-blue House Web stripe.
The DIY collection also now includes new sweatshirts, hoodies, tailored jackets ,bomber jackets and denim jackets, a long with the knitwear items. The full customizable offering is available now from the Gucci web store and select physical locations.
