Daniel Cormier Calls Out Brock Lesnar Following UFC 230 Win
Becoming the first UFC fighter to defend two titles in different weight classes.
Shortly after defeating Derrick Lewis to defend his UFC Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Cormier called out Brock Lesnar once again during his octagon interview with Joe Rogan.
Cormier excited a packed Madison Square Garden crowd at UFC 230 by becoming the first UFC fighter to defend two titles in different weight classes. Despite notable trades with Lewis standing up, in the end, Cormier bested his opponent by submitting him with a rear-naked choke in the second round. Cutting his celebration short, Cormier turned his attention towards WWE star, Brock Lesnar, who is currently waiting out a USADA-imposed suspension that ends in January. For those who don’t remember, the two clashed back in July at UFC 226 after Cormier beat Stipe Miocic to win the UFC Heavyweight title.
