417 BY EDIFICE Heads Towards Nature for FW18
A Japanese take on “French preppy.”

Japan’s 417 BY EDIFICE maintains its push for contemporary takes on traditional French-style garb. Where its parent brand, EDIFICE, looks to capture a more casual and lifestyle-oriented take on clothing, 417 BY EDIFICE blends four main components into each of its offerings: marine, military, work and sport — all with a youthful twist.
In 417 BY EDIFICE’s latest Fall/Winter 2018 lookbook, the label focuses in on the outdoors, giving us a better look at some of the more heavier outerwear offerings. Pieces seen in the lookbook come in the form of the JERRY 417 down jacket, NANGA 417 City Explorer down jacket, a cashmere-blend long coat, a Champion sherpa fleece jacket, and the PERTEX KAWADA Feather Mountain Parka. In keeping with traditional tailoring and coating, materials/fabrics like cashmere, tweed, wool, and corduroy are seen throughout the collection.
The 417 BY EDIFICE Fall/Winter collection ranges from ¥5,400 JPY — ¥52,900 JPY (approximately $47 USD – $470 USD), and can now be found over at 417’s webstore.
