Tory Lanez on Travis Scott Comparison: "I Can't Sound Like Somebody I Wrote For"
What do you think?

[gallery columns="3"]Late last night, Meek Mill’s anticipated new studio project DC4 finally arrived. Featured on the album was a Tory Lanez collaboration known as “Litty,” and the track has already garnered quite a reception on the internet. Specifically, many listeners are comparing Tory Lanez and his Auto-Tune melodies to other artists and their signature sounds, namely Travi$ Scott. Taking to Twitter earlier today, the Canadian crooner had the following, direct response to the aforementioned accusations:
I can't sound like somebody I wrote for …

For reference, Tory Lanez previously spoke about writing for Travi$ Scott and others in past interviews. Most notably, he told HOTNEWHIPHOP he worked on the T.I. and Travi$ Scott record “Brand New Choppas.” “I do a lot of writing and sometimes people don’t really know how much writing I do … I did the latest shit for Travis Scott and T.I., the ‘Brand New Choppas’ shit, I wrote that,” he told HNHH back in October of 2014.
