Skizzy Mars, Marc E. Bassy and Keenan Drop the Video for “Manhattan”
The video was directed by Boni Mata.
Producer Keenan, formerly named Michael Keenan, drops the video for “Manhattan” featuring Skizzy Mars and Marc E. Bassy, the first single off his debut solo project. The video is directed by Boni Mata and follows Keenan daily life in the big city. For the Keenan, having Mars and Bassy on his first single is really special because they were one of the first artists he got a chance to work with.
“I like to make music with my friends and have been spending all of my time doing so ever since I learned how,” Keenan tells HYPEBEAST. “Sometimes my friends and I unintentionally make songs that depict stories in my life. ‘Manhattan’ shows the perspective of my early career, living in NYC skating around the city and making music with a disregard for everything else. Skizzy and Marc are some of my earliest collaborators and I am grateful they could be the first of my friends to begin this story. More like this to come with new and old friends alike.”
Kennan’s producer credits include G-Eazy & Bebe Rexha’s “Me, Myself & I,” Melanie Martinez’s Crybaby, Linkin Park, Madison Beer, Mod Sun and more. Keep an eye out for his solo debut but for now, watch the video for “Manhattan” above.
