Rick Ross Slams Birdman for Not Paying Lil Wayne

The beef continues.

Rick Ross has stepped in on the side of Lil Wayne regarding Mr. Carter’s ongoing financial feud with Birdman. The Teflon Don, in a recent Snapchat video, sent the Cash Money boss a pretty clear message, “Boy, you a year late, and five years late paying that man his money. Pay that man his money.” The money to which Ross refers, and that Weezy is owed, is in the sum of around $40 million USD. Wayne is seeking the damages due to a claim that Cash Money never paid him an $8 million USD advance for Tha Carter V, and is also hindering him from receiving profits from Drake and Nicki Minaj — both who had contracts with Wayne’s label, Young Money Entertainment.

Lil Wayne is currently seeking the appointment of a liquidator for the owed Cash Money’s assets and the right to release Tha Carter V as he sees fit.

You can watch Ross’s call-out video below. In other music news, Rex Orange County drops “Loving Is Easy” single and video.
