nonnative's FW18 HIKER & CLERK Trainers Reimagine Trail Footwear
New footwear from the Japanese label.
Continuing to deliver its Fall/Winter 2018 offerings, nonnative releases the latest takes on its HIKER and CLERK Trainers.
This time around, the handcrafted-in-Italy, mid-top trail-inspired sneakers are done in both beige and black premium cow leather nubuck. The more minimalist CLERK Trainer features a single panel construction dressed with tonal stitching, light foot opening padding and a vertical heel zip closure. Drawing from the design of trekking boots, the HIKER Trainer is defined by its dynamic paneling upper and an exaggerated mudguard placed along the perimeter of the shoe. Finishing up both models is a substantial midsole designed for advanced cushioning and a chunky traction-focused rubber outsole.
Priced between ¥47,520 and ¥56,160 JPY ($422 and $498 USD), nonnative’s HIKER and CLERK Trainer Mid in Cow Nubuck are available now at select retailers like COVERCHORD.
In case you missed it, nonnative recently designed uniforms for lauded Japanese ramen chain IPPUDO.
