Founded by Yoshichika Kato, Gypsy & Sons is a Japanese label focused on function, with each range offering plenty of pockets and sturdy fabrics. For Fall/Winter 2018, the brand has refined that mentality into a selection of versatile ventile anoraks and cotton down jackets, informed by an earthy color palette. Wardrobe staples, including jackets, hoodies, quarter-zip sweaters and pleated slacks, are realized in loose cuts and warm fabrics, including fleece and corduroy, while washed denim adds a rugged flair to the proceedings. These understated items add emphasis to the statement items, like an intarsia patterned cardigan, pale yellow logo cap and bright orange sling bags.

Head to the Gypsy & Sons website to learn more and expect Japanese stockists to receive the new goods within the coming weeks.

Elsewhere in Japan, nanamica deployed a typically understated lookbook for Fall/Winter 2018.
