Gypsy & Sons Suits Up for Militaristic FW18 Collection
The Japanese brand delivers rugged, functional style.

Founded by Yoshichika Kato, Gypsy & Sons is a Japanese label focused on function, with each range offering plenty of pockets and sturdy fabrics. For Fall/Winter 2018, the brand has refined that mentality into a selection of versatile ventile anoraks and cotton down jackets, informed by an earthy color palette. Wardrobe staples, including jackets, hoodies, quarter-zip sweaters and pleated slacks, are realized in loose cuts and warm fabrics, including fleece and corduroy, while washed denim adds a rugged flair to the proceedings. These understated items add emphasis to the statement items, like an intarsia patterned cardigan, pale yellow logo cap and bright orange sling bags.
