Butter Goods Delivers More Referential Imagery for Fall 2018
Color-blocked layering pieces, ‘Spy Vs. Spy’ and spiders.
Following the brand’s mid-year drop, Butter Goods returns for Q3 2018 with a selection of playful prints and throwback designs. Retro sportswear informs the color-blocked anoraks and branded shoulder bag, while an appreciation for timeless athletic designs yields items like a cycling cap and slouchy sweatsuit. Elsewhere, photographs of Bob Marley are printed on a pair of cropped trousers, while other pants & shorts feature embroidered flies and a patch that juxtaposes “BUTTER” branding with a stenciled figure. College font “JAZZ” verbiage accompanies various Butter logos, a faux BMW ad and even a titular character from MAD Magazine‘s Spy Vs. Spy.
Butter Goods’ web store will host the new drop on October 7, after launching in-store on October 6.
Meanwhile, Midnight Studios will debut its own range of referential graphic gear in time for HYPEFEST.
