Ariel Pink Gets Weird & Lo-Fi for "I Wanna Be Young" Video
Directed by Salvador Cresta.
A month after the release of the Gorsad-directed abstract video for “Time to Live,” Ariel Pink revisits his stellar project from this past September for another new visual.
Focusing on promoting Dedicated to Bobby Jameson until the end of 2017, Ariel Pink links up with visual artist Salvador Cresta for a vignette in support of “I Wanna Be Young.” Like the other videos created for Dedicated to Bobby Jameson records, this tripped-out piece is as weird as it is lo-fi. While past videos appeared to have some sort of (somewhat) cohesive narrative, today’s release is a frenzied, artful collage of shots and scenes. For those unfamiliar, “I Wanna Be Young” video architect Salvador Cresta has also put together other productions that are just as bizarre and surreal; you can check those out courtesy of Vimeo and Tumblr.
