Song for the Mute "PLANT" Fall/Winter 2018 Collection Explores Textures & Tones
Inspired by the concept of man vs. nature.
After exploring earthy tones for Spring/Summer 2018, Song for the Mute recently unveiled an ocean-inspired Fall/Winter 2018 collection.
Titled “PLANT,” the latest seasonal range displays cleaner slim silhouettes and a lighter color palette than previous collections from the Australian label. Utilizing a color palette inspired by the ocean, garments found in the range express streetwear through the lens of man versus nature.
Frayed hems, strap detailing and treated textiles are just some of the design elements found in the collection comprised of trench coats, bombers, sweaters, T-shirts, trousers and caps. Some standout pieces include an oversized padded denim coach jackets, rubberized and reflective bonded fabric trench coats and non-creasing gabardine wool raw hem sweaters.
