Sampha's "(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano" Is One of His Most Emotional Tracks
Something to tug at your heartstrings.
There are very few musicians who enjoyed a better 2016 than Sampha. Racking up credits for records attached to Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Solange and others, Sampha has built a reputation as one of modern music’s most talented studio artists and earned a great deal of acclaim for his solo efforts. With only a few weeks until the “Too Much” singer-songwriter’s debut studio album Process arrives, the support and adoration for the Brit is at an all-time high.
Further promoting his forthcoming LP, Sampha has decided to follow-up last November’s major tour and album news with a ballad-esque, bare-bones Process cut titled “(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano.” As an official statement explains, today’s release is its creator’s way of honoring the piano that resided in his family’s home for years and helped bring to life his forthcoming project.
You can give “(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano” a spin above. Process is set to see release on February 3, while Sampha will promote his new music on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this Friday.
