Pigalle Delivers a Ballet Performance for Fall/Winter 2018
Retro glamour captured in urban styles.
Pigalle did not shy away from artistic dazzle for Fall/Winter 2018. Creative Director Stéphane Ashpool drew on his childhood memories of growing up in a dance studio for the performance at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse.
Ballet dancers modeled the fashion house’s glamorous experimental apparel. First up were several garments sporting red — provided by a lacquered leather jacket and both satin & texturized pants. Further along, we notice streamlined shapes in striking cow prints, fur fabrics, retro stripes and color-blocking. Pigalle continues to transform essential urban styles into elegant tailored pieces.
