Lanvin‘s Creative Director Lucas Ossendrijver strays from logo-mania and ostensive patchworking. Instead, he uses layering techniques to bring out contemporary taste at Fashion Week.

Fluid luxury looks are created by styling coat, jacket and cape silhouettes over printed pieces. Highlights include a traditional black long coat with visible pocket lining, black sweater cut on the bias to reveal a muted green/pink Aloha shirt, and an oversized pink knit with classic Lanvin stripes. Although an understated range, each piece is crafted to be casual, but with the precision we’ve come to expect from the fashion house. The attention to detail and relaxed creativity can be seen in the footwear, too.

Watch the 2018 Winter Show and scroll through the full collection above. In related news, read about Ossendrijver’s Dior Homme mentor Hedi Slimane joining CÉLINE.
