NOUNION's Fall/Winter 2018 Lookbook Explores "Contrasts" & "Balance"
Separate styles collide for the brand’s latest.

Previously, NOUNION introduced a Fall/Winter 2017 collection influenced by 1970s New York gang culture, taking particular inspiration from the 1979 Gary Weis documentary 80 Blocks from Tiffany’s. For a follow-up line, NOUNION looks to explore “contrasts and balance” with its new, Fall/Winter 2018 offering.
Citing the contrasting sides of “environmental stimulation within major inner-cities,” the “expression of multiple, sometimes contrasting personalities simultaneously most time for the sake of survival” and “destroying stereotypes by displaying various characters, interests, and imaginations within various groups and communities,” NOUNION puts together an eclectic range of fits to move fashion culture forward. Most notably, the collection’s themes are best expressed through the look of the outerwear pieces, where the materials are used as canvases for the clash of differing styles.
