nonnative’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection Pays Homage to Blue-Collar Workers
Titled “The Handyman Service.”
nonnative looks ahead to the coming of spring/summer with a new collection titled “The Handyman Service” — offering a satirical spin on the blue-collar handyman. Although the lookbook takes place in what appears to be a backroom office space, models reenact everyday scenarios, surely alluding to the range’s relatable versatility. Whether walking to work with lunch in hand, jetting off to class toting notebooks or delivering parcel packages around town, the items take on a relaxed, casual tone — ideal for maximum comfort and ease of use.
Crewneck pullovers, printed button-down shirts, flannel tops, denim jackets, cargo pants and chino trousers, all do well to display the collection’s intended workwear aesthetic. Accompanying the lookbook is a short video clip shot in the same vein as a humorous ‘90s-era television infomercial. The first delivery of the collection is expected to arrive via nonnative’s online shop on February 3.
In case you missed it, Stone Island released a video lookbook for Spring/Summer 2018.
