Marvel Unveils Comic Book Cover Inspired by Beyoncé's "Formation"
For the second issue of Marvel’s ‘America’ series.
Marvel has unveiled its latest cover for the second issue of the America series. Illustrated by Joe Quinones, the cover is inspired by Beyoncé’s “Formation” video. The cover depicts the pop star’s hat and jewelry, but replacing her attire with stars and stripes. Marvel has long taken inspiration from hip-top and has issued album artwork inspired by those of Kanye West, Vic Mensa and more. The comic is written by Gabby Rivers and will be released in April.
