Who better to promote the 58th Grammy Awards than the artist with the most nominations, Kendrick Lamar? To begin the week, the people behnd the GRAMMYs have unveiled a new promo-piece centered on the To Pimp a Butterfly rapper and his hometown of Compton. The vignette takes its viewers to Kendrick’s city, where the TDE emcee and various Compton students put on a special performance of the TPAB hit-single “Alright.” Considering Kendrick will also be performing live for this year’s Grammy ceremony, this video should also serve as a preview of what’s to come when he hits the stage on February 15.
