Stormzy Takes Aim at BRIT Awards on "One Take Freestyle"

Grimes artist Stormzy looks to keep the momentum going in 2016 with this latest cut following the success of massive single “Shut Up.” The “One Take Freestyle” finds Stormzy criticizing the Brit Awards, rapping: “None of my Gs nominated for Brits / Are you taking the p*ss / Embarrassing.” Many Grime artists have charted within the UK Top 40 in 2015 include Stormzy, Krept and Konan, Lethal Bizzle and Skepta, yet none of them were nominated. Stormzy’s “Shut Up” single actually hit the Top 10, but still fell on deaf ears. Watch him above mobbing out in Japan.
