iLoveMakonnen Comes Out on Twitter, “I’m Gay”
“It’s time I’ve come out.”
Just a day after Chance the Rapper’s brother Taylor Bennett came out as bisexual, iLoveMakonnen has now followed suit with his own announcement on Twitter, “I’m Gay.” The Atlanta rapper unveiled the news with a string of tweets in the early hours of Friday morning. “As a fashion icon, I can’t tell u about everybody else’s closet, I can only tell u about mine, and it’s time I’ve come out,” he said in the first tweet. iLoveMakonnen had a breakout year in 2014 with his smash hit “Tuesday.” He would sign to OVO Sound but would leave the label last year after some creative differences.
