Hiroshi Fujiwara Teases fragment design x Nike Cortez
With translucent Flywire technology.

Hiroshi Fujiwara, the man behind fragment design, has just teased what may be an upcoming collaboration with Nike on its Cortez silhouette. While the Swoosh has recently debuted a Kendrick Lamar “Kenny 1” version of the iconic Cortez, the Instagram teaser from Fujiwara shows us a completely different look at what can be done.
The all-white/cream colorway is covered in a variety of materials which include suede on the toecap and heel section, a leather Swoosh, and most noticeably the standout translucent mesh upper construction. With its see-through property, we can observe the exposed Flywire technology in black and the letters “FRGMT” in a bold white. With no further word on whether this is a one-off custom or in the pipeline for a public release, stay tuned for more details as they come in.
Last December, Hiroshi teased a fragment design x RIMOWA luggage. Let us know your thoughts on this Cortez creation below.
