To combat the cold weather upon us, HBX recently put together a new editorial to highlight some of the standout garments ALYX, Heron Preston, MISBHV and more. Dubbed “Simulacra & Simulation,” the editorial is a visual representation of Jean Baudrillard’s book of the same name which examines the relationships between reality, symbols, and society.
Focussing on darker tones, the pieces featured in the editorial serve to question the divide of streetwear and fashion with unique cuts and impeccable detailing. While subversive graphics serves as the design element that connects the offerings from the label’s featured in the cohesive Fall/Winter 2018 editorial. Some notable pieces include ALYX’s signature Eternal Bomber Jacket, Heron Preston’s strikingly detailed Bonded Jacket and MISBHV’s Tribal 95’ Kubo Coat.
