Flume is Accused of Stealing Skrillex & What So Not Music
Even George Maple thinks so.

Yesterday, Flume announced that his upcoming album Skin is “almost finished.” Afterwards, he released a five-minute preview of the album for fans to listen to. However upon hearing the preview, several Reddit users pointed out that one of the songs sound similar to an unreleased Skrillex and What So Not collaboration unofficially titled “Beachlife ID.” For those who are not in the know, Flume used to be part of What So Not with Emoh Instead, but has departed from the group to pursue his solo career. George Maple, who has collaborated with What So Not, took to Twitter and agreed with the allegations, calling Flume out for “stealing” WSN songs in his teaser. As of now, none of the other parties have responded yet to the accusations; we’ll keep you updated. Listen to the original “Beachlife ID” below and check out Maple’s now-deleted tweets.
