Berthold Teams up With Ed Fornieles for Cosplay-Inspired Collection
The art-obsessed designer looks to fantasy worlds for Fall/Winter 2018.

Having made itself a firm one-to-watch on the London Fashion Week: Men’s scene, Berthold has released its Fall/Winter 2018 collection, this offering a collaboration with British artist Ed Fornieles.
The theme for this collection centres on the idea of creating a fantasy, much like cosplay, dreaming up a world that exists between present-day London and the near-future. Fornieles explains that the collection aims to explore exactly why people wear garments, noting, “You are what you wear. With each garment, look and style, we are asking ourselves: who am I?”.
The collection itself features several Berthold mainstays, including an oversized silhouette and a focus on workwear-inspired garments but also added several new flourishes. These included embroidered branded outerwear (with one jacket coming with matching trousers) alongside oversized scarves and cross-body bags.
