Audemars Piguet Releases Royal Oak Chronograph in Platinum

Having revealed a pack of three new special edition watches back at the end of 2017, Audemars Piguet has now added a platinum version to its Royal Oak Chronograph repertoire. Coming out just one year after the Royal Oak Chronograph’s facelift, the watch continues with its updated 41mm case (just 3mm shy of its Offshore sibling), 4/5 o’clock date window, and signature Tapisserie dial.

Powered by the in-house caliber 2385 movement, the 37-jewel movement has a 40-hour power reserve and is rated at 50 meters. The focal point of this release however, is that the entire case along with bracelet is made in platinum.

With this increase in weight comes a major bump in price as this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph in Platinum prices in at 112,000 CHF (approximately $ 116,500 USD). Elsewhere in other high-priced accessories news, check out the $350,000 USD of chains that Lil Pump recently gifted his crew.
