A First Look at the Tesla Model 3's Touchscreen
An in-depth visual analysis has surfaced.
As one of this year’s most anticipated vehicles, the Tesla Model 3 has received a flood of attention for a variety of unique features; from live-stream events to the details of its production and assembly, all eyes are on Elon Musk’s creation. Now, we’re receiving an in-depth analysis — courtesy of Jalopnik — of the Model 3’s standout center console touchscreen.
Coming in at 15 inches, the Model 3’s touchscreen display controls all aspects of the car’s operations, from music selection to navigation. Presenting viewers with a detailed walk-through of the touchscreen’s wide spectrum of abilities, Jalopnik takes to us to an Austin, Texas Tesla gallery to showcase the first Model 3 shipped to a consumer outside of the California market. Most notably, this new vignette serves as a debut of much of what the Model 3’s touchscreen has to offer; you can control airflow, turn on windshield wipers, explore your podcast playlists, and more. As the Tesla employee admits, there’s definitely a “learning curve” here.
