Tesla Announces It Will Livestream the First Model 3 Deliveries
It’s going down tomorrow night.

Elon Musk has something special planned for the lucky individuals who were first to purchase the new Tesla Model 3. For the delivery of the first 30 Model 3 vehicles, Tesla plans to host an exciting livestream event to broadcast the product’s arrival to the world. Set to take place tomorrow, July 28, the streaming session will begin at 8:45 p.m. PST and features an appearance by Musk himself. While Tesla’s headline-dominating founder and CEO will serve as the new Model 3’s very first proud owner, the other 29 rides will go to the company’s employees and current Tesla EV owners.
Some orders for the new Model 3 were placed as early as March of last year with 100 of the cars shipping next month and another 1,500 expected to arrive in September. As fall progresses, around 10,000 Model 3s per week will begin shipping out. Considering Tesla’s recently revealed plans for more North American factories, expect the assembly lines to be pretty busy in the coming years.
If you’re interested in viewing the livestream yourself, head on over to Tesla’s official website tomorrow night.
