Nike's Air Zoom Spiridon Takes on A "University Red/Metallic Silver" Makeover
A colorway made famous by the original Nike Air Max 1.

In our last look at the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon, the signature runner dropped in a Black/“Gym Red” color scheme in time to greet the summer season. And now, the revered silhouette will soon release in a tonal motif helped made popular by the original Nike Air Max 1. The new rendition will feature a clean white base with splashes of “University Red” and metallic silver, which lands on the side panel Swoosh, eyestay and tongue collar.
Aside from its stylistic attributes, the new Spiridon boasts a lighter ride, thanks in part to the midsole retooling, while a rugged, traction-friendly outsole completes the design — effectively converging form and function. Set to retail for $140 USD, look for these new iterations at select Nike stockists sometime in the near future.
